The Hobo Nickel

"The hobo nickel is a sculptural art form involving the creative modification of small-denomination coins, essentially resulting in miniature bas reliefs. The nickel, because of its size, thickness, and relative softness, was a favored coin for this purpose. However, the term "hobo nickel" is generic, and carvings have been made from many different denominations.

Due to its low cost and portability, this medium was particularly popular among hobos, hence the name."

I suppose an Introduction is in Order...

I didn't do a lot today. It's not the first time it's happened lately, and it certainly won't be the last. I think that for most of the day I just sat around doing random internet stuff and listening to music. I just finished watching "Office Space", directed by Mike Judge. Definately one of my favourite movies of all time. Sometimes I wonder if I AM Peter Gibbons. I suppose the one major difference is that if I had one million dollars, I wouldn't do absolutely nothing. I'd probably invest a lot of it into recording gear and stuff. See, I don't actually mind working, I just don't like the work that I do at the moment. I absolutely HATE bar work. Where I work I've got at least four ACTUAL bosses, plus maybe ten more that THINK that they're my boss. The guy who actually runs the place, and the one guy I actually DO see as my boss keeps treating me like I've been working in the place for about two weeks!

I suppose I should set out how this blog is going to be laid out most of the time from now on.
Section One: General Thoughts of the Day
Section Two: Music Review of the day
Section Three: Movie Review of the Day

and anything else that pops into my head. Of course the majority of the blog will more than likely end up being just a lot of little things that I blog. I'm generally interested in Gadgets, Music, Movies and stuff so that'll probably be a lot of what I blog.
